Hikam America Inc. Statement on Conflict Minerals

Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (H.R. 4173) requires the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to establish rules requiring publicly traded companies to disclose whether they utilize minerals such as Tantalum, Tin, Gold, Cobalt and Tungsten that may have originated in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (“DRC") or neighboring countries.

Hikam America, Inc. takes its responsibility very seriously to ensure that minerals that are mined in the DRC or neighboring countries do not find their way into our supply chain. Hikam America, Inc. may use materials in the manufacturing process that may contain some of the listed minerals however, Hikam America, Inc. does not purchase any minerals directly from smelters or mines therefore we rely on the source information provided by our suppliers.

We continue working with our suppliers to trace materials back to their origin to ensure they are from proper and responsible sourcing and at this time are unaware of any materials used to have contained minerals which originated from a conflict zone of the DRC.

Please be ensured that Hikam America, Inc. intends to remain in full compliance with the Act, and commits to performing due diligence into the sources of the materials we use.

Thank you.
